Queen's
College cricket ground, Oxford
How to reach
it from London by car.
Take the
M40 out of London. Turn off at junction 8 for Oxford. Follow
the A40 to the Headington roundabout. Take the first exit, which takes
you south on to the A4142. Keep going until the third roundabout. This
has two exits. The first is the A423, heading west. The second is the
A4144, heading north for the City Centre. Take the second exit. You are
now in Abingdon Road. Follow this for three-quarters of a mile and look
out for a turning on the right which is signed: Queens College Sports
Ground - also BNC. This is opposite two small roads on the left
- White
House Road and Kineton Place.
Turn right
through a narrow entrance and drive down a rough track. The
Queens ground is ahead to your right, with the Thames on the far side.
(The BNC ground - BNC is Brasenose College - is on your left.) You can
park beside the pavilion.
