BARNES COMMON CC

There are several Barnes clubs. This is BARNES COMMON, who play at Barnes Common, in the area bounded by Vine Road, Station Road, and the railway line running from Barnes to Chiswick.

The changing rooms are off Vine Road, the section of the road between the two railway lines shown on the A-Z. There is a bowling green there and you can park and change there. To reach the cricket ground you walk back up
(north) Vine Road, cross the railway line, and the ground is on the right-hand (east) side.

Long-established Gnome members may remember that we have played at this ground in the past. That was in the time of our old adversary, Norman Harris, the Sunday Times cricket captain, who helped set up the Barnes Common club and restore the ground.
